Best Before [apr]. In a game where adaptability is a major factor, [apr] is about as good as it gets. The most recent update has allowed a larger variety of build choices and [apr] has taken advantage of this. This should give them an element of surprise going in, which I predict will shock many as they climb to the top of the tournament.
Rebel Rising [rawr]. The new map rotation greatly favors [rawr]’s play style and gives them a much larger advantage than in most of the past tournaments. In addition, the last few weeks have shown [rawr] on the top of their game and hungry for another championship. The only problems they may run into would involve builds that they did not expect or struggling on split-friendly maps such as Frozen Isle.
Whats Going On [sup]. Currently holding the top position on the ladder, [sup] is still looking for the type of tournament success akin to their rank. In the past, they’ve proved they can beat anybody on any given day (and this tournament shouldn’t be any different as they rocket past most other guilds), but they have potential to falter at just the wrong moment.

Dark Alley [dR] with their high level of skill and dedication is now the top American guild and therefore will be a strong contender in the March tournament.
You Fail [uF] has always been a strong contender in tournaments but will have to get everything right to be at the top.
Rebel Rising [rawr] is a strong guild and is sure to do well in the March tournament due to the meta being particularly focused on 8v8 rather than splits.
Hero Battles
X Ekelon X is perhaps the strongest and most obvious choice for the number one spot. Ekelon is the most consistent player in making the top eight and will have to play well and smartly to get his fourth tournament win.
Bulls On Chaos is the most dangerous player because you can never quite guess what Bulls may play. Bulls can competently play Mesmer, Dervish, Assassin, and Monk, and through high skill will always have a chance at being at the top.
Death to Defy has been the most improved player over recent months, reaching the top three on the ladder. Death can easily overwhelm opponents and this should make Death a clear contender for the March tournament.
Rao Goes Superman

Best Before [apr]. This guild has shown good capacity to adapt to the metagame, especially with their new Daze / Virulence or Foul Feast / Plague Signet build. They might use it as a strong asset to win the gold cape.
Thugs Mansion [OG]. Good players with a strong capacity to adapt to their opponent, they have shown a very good sense of tactics during their latest ladder matches.
Whats Going On [sup]. Very impressive players, they have shown good tactics and a lot of imagination in the way they have customized balanced builds in the past. This guild has a real chance during March’s Automatic Tournament.
