Lvl 90+
Curse Gear(In the Python Dungeon you need curse resistance for round 10. I would recommend to have at least 65% curse resistance.)
Objective:
There are 10 rounds in python dungeon. Each round you must kill monsters and try to keep the number of monsters in the dungeon below 50. Once it has reached 50 you will fail.
Information About Python Dungeon
Python Dungeon is well you guessed it, a dungeon in python castle. To enter you must be least lvl 90. Python Castle is at the south-west corner of the map, and Python Dungeon is the white dot on the map near the bottom. Python Dungeon has 4 levels/ranks.From hardest to least amount of difficulty it is Abyss,A,B, and C. The reason why it is more difficult is not that the lvl of the monsters change but that the spawn rate of the monsters increases. Every level of difficulty going up takes off 1 minute from each round which takes off a total of 10 mins from the whole dungeon. The following is a list of the amount of times in the dungeon.
Abyss -I don’t know the time, but I’m guessing that it will be a 25 minute dungeon run
A - 35 minutes
B - 45 minutes
C - 55 minutes
Getting A Python Dungeon Party
For the python dungeon you want a 6-man party. The reason for this is that you will pay less dil and you will have higher dps, or damage per second.Getting into python dungeon requires 1 million dil to get in.Any other party members that follow into the dungeon will have to pay nothing to enter. When you finally get in and it is finally loaded up you will have to drop your payment. The following is a list of how much you should pay according to the amount of party members:
1-man party 1 million dil
2-man party 500,000 dil
3-man party 333,333 dil
4-man party 250,000 dil
5-man party 200,000 dil
6-man party 166,666 dil
Getting back to actually finding the dungeon. When you want to get a party you could either form your own party and invite people, or you could look for a party. When looking for a party you say “looking for dungeon party (level of dungeon here)” or LFDP for short. Players invite you based on your level. You will be qualified in a dungeon party generally around these levels:
Lvl 90-96 B Dungeon
Lvl 97+ A Dungeon
Know that the level you will start getting into dungeons more for that level depends on your class also.
Forming a Party
When forming a party you should make sure you have the right classes in the party. About everyone skips C runs and moves on to B runs because C runs take extremely long and are completely boring.
So in a B run you would need a good amount of dps. There are many combinations you can have to complete this dungeon. I would recommend to have at least 1 hunter or mage, and try to get an azure knight if you can only get 1 hunter or mage. I also extremely recommend going with 1 segnale. 1 segnale is all you need, really. It is possible to do a B run without a segnale if you have enough dps and classes knockbacking the monsters. If the level of the other classes are high enough(probably 100+) though you can complete a B without hunters or mages.
In A runs it is all about knockbacks. In A runs dps isn’t much of a problem.
In A run you require alot more knockbacks than a B run because the monsters spawn. If you don’t knockback the monsters that means they will have a chance to attack you. The monsters will then knockback you which will interrupt your skill. The monsters will constantly damage you and you will die. st I would recommend 2 hunters/mages(combination of both are great) at the least and a segnale.
Classes’ Jobs in Python Dungeon
Azure Knight -Azure Knights provide damage and knockbacks in dungeons. They also are for tanking monsters.Azure Knights get into A’s more when they are around lvl 98(not too sure on this)
Bagi Warrior -Bagi Warriors tank monsters just like Azure Knights and provide damage.(I think Azure Knights do more damage than Bagi Warriors though) When parties merge(get to this later in the actual walkthrough) they are sometimes used for kicking monsters into the aoes. They start getting into A Dungeon Parties more at level 98.
Summoner -Summoners provide damage. Summoners vary. Some do more damage than others and some do less damage than others.
Incar Magicians -Incar Magicians provide a high amount of dps and knockbacks. Incar Magicians can also tank monsters. They start getting into A’s around level 96 or 97.
Segita Hunters -Segita Hunters provide a high amount of dps and knockbacks just like Incar Magicians.(from what I have seen segita hunters do more damage than incar magicians,(don’t know by how much) but they can’t tank monsters. They probably can tank a little bit if they are pure heal though.) Segita Hunters get into A dungeons at around level 96 or 97.
Segnales -Segnales provide knockbacks from curse field(if they have enough dps) and heals the party. Segnales have it easy. They can quickly find dungeon parties and can get into A dungeon parties at level 90.(unless the party wants a higher level segnale for more curse field damage or something else)
Walkthrough
First you will find a party. Then you will enter the dungeon and drop your dil when it has loaded. To start the round you talk to Regina.(only one person has to talk) It will then say Round 1 Start(if I remember correctly) at the top of your screen. In the first round the segnale drops a curse field on the statue in the middle. If there is no segnale everyone can stand on the blue platform and just aoe the monsters when they get to you. When the round ends you go to the blue platform. Aoe the monsters that spawn. On the 3rd round parties split onto the white and red platform. Aoe the monsters that spawn. In a B run your merge at round 7 and stay merged until round 10. In an A run they normally stay split until through round 3-10 unless something goes round. Like if the other side’s hp are starting to drop they might merge if the party decides to. If a member disconnects merge together. If it is like round 5 and your party is able to you can stay split. Whether you split or merge is really the parties choice. There really isn’t too much to Python Dungeon except aoeing the monsters that spawn. On round 10 though don’t forget to put on your curse gear if you are on the white platform.(if you are split) If you are merged you will everyone will have to wear curse gear. On round 6-10 treasure boxes will spawn at the end of the rounds. On round 10 it will spawn a treasure box and a golden treasure box. For rounds 9 and 10 the treasure boxes most of the time gives copper and silver argates and medials. Sometimes the treasure boxes may give gems instead which is what most wouldn’t want.(they would rather take the argates) Believe it or not you actually make money from this dungeon. Most of the money would come from the copper and silver argates. After you have passed round 10 take all of the items in the treasure boxes and talk to Regina to leave. When you leave you will get magic stone pieces.
Abyss-not sure
A -4 magic stone pieces
B -2 magic stone pieces
C -1 magic stone pieces
Items From Treasure Boxes
Silver Argates - Common on round 9 and 10
Copper Argates - Common on round 9 and 10
Critical Bijou - Rare
Guard Bijou - Small Chance
Block Bijou - Small Chance
Resistance Gems - Very Common
Elemental Attack Gems - Common
Rhombus - Good Chance
Tips on Python Dungeon
-Always keep your life full if you can’t tank hits.(i.e. glass cannon builds)
-Aoe whenever you can(when your skills are no longer on cooldown)
-Stay close to the wall if you can’t tank so you won’t be the first to hit(you can stand on platform if you are tanking)
-Fast heal everyone before start of round(if you are segnale) and whenever it runs out(to see your party’s current buffs click the + button at the top of the party list that is under the map)
-Don’t destroy the statue!(it could stop the time limit,or stop spawning monsters for 10 seconds, etc.) In python dungeon the round sometimes glitches where when all of the monsters are killed it won’t say Round Clear. Then you have to kill the statue. Hopefully it spawns some monsters to kill. If you kill the monsters and the round still doesn’t clear your out of luck.
-Don’t message people when the round has started! You should be aoeing anyways. =p
-Aoe close to the wall or on the platform so that monsters don’t stack up far away from all the aoes.
Hope you get an argate.
