THIEVES ARE WACK
Normally I run trader jobs and occasionally hunter jobs; however, one day I came across a lot of loot scattered on the ground. I waited around for the owner to show up and reclaim his goods... never did. I figured they gave up on it or it was a noob that didn't know he could reclaim his goods. I put on my trader flag and summoned a transport and tried to pick up the loot. Unbeknownst to me I couldn't as a trader only as a thieve. This prompted me to buy thief's suit, incase I should come across this situation again.
It wasn't long after this that I indeed came across another similar situation. A poor guy was laying on the ground dead in need of ressurection with no one around. This was my chance! I put on the black suit, summoned a brumby and snatched the goods, leaving him helpless and cursing my mother. Anyway, I road off to a hidden spot and use the "Bandit Den Returning Letter" so that I could teleport to the thieve's hideout and sell the looted goods.
Okay that was the situation and here are the facts...
1. Everybody except other thieves hates thieves, oh yeah and traders and hunters will punk you every chance they get.
2. The "Bandit Den Returning Letter" takes forever to finally teleport. You think the beginners return scroll is takes a long time? It ain't got nothing on this one... it took at least 10 minutes to finally transport. Meaning your butt is exposed for poking by those hunters and traders with their big spears.
3. When I finally teleported the stolen loot sold for about a 1/3 of what a trader would get for the same items.
4. If you have been a trader in the past, like I was, the new experience points you gain for a sucessful thief mission gets deducted from your trader experience points, point for point... LAME!
In conclusion,if you like killing people and making real money don't be a thief, thieves are for juveniles, be a man... be a trader or if you have superhero tendencies be a hunter.
