Client Download and Installation

First go to the downloads page:
http://www.silkroadonline.net/dataroom/download.asp

In order to run the game properly you will need the latest drivers for your
video card and DirectX 9.0c (or above if available). You can get it by clicking
on the image with DirectX written on it. To download the client find the
appropriate image link and click on it.

On the downloads page you will also see links to manual patches. You don't need
to download those since the game will do so automatically when you first start
it.


Once you download the game client, it's time to install! Double click on the exe
file you got from the download and select "Install". The default installation
path will be displayed now along with the option to start or cancel the process.
If you don't want to install the game in the default location click on the
"Search" button and choose another one. After the installation completes you
should have a shortcut to the game on your desktop, if you don't or deleted it
by mistake you can get a new one by going to the installation folder, right
clicking on silkroad.exe and selecting Send To --> Desktop.

Launch the game, it should now autoupdate. Once the patch is downloaded the
Start button will appear. Press it to start playing.
