1. Is there anyway to get silk without real money?
Answer: Yes, you can "make" money by doing surveys online or selling items
on ebay. But these things can be time consuming and are never
guarenteed to make you money, and you need to get "paypal" money
because that is the best and easiest way (Visa credit card is also
easy but that means spending real money) to buy silk. But apart
from making money you CANNOT buy silk any other way.

2. What are bots?
Answer: They are humping the walls and trees everywhere on your server,
they are KSing (kill stealing) your kill, they are ruining the
game, and the bots are computers. There are two types of bots:
player bots and gold bots. Gold bots just kill monsters with no
skills and collect mainly gold (may have changed now) and player
bots kill monsters to level up the player while the human is off
watching his TV or with his girlfriend (or something which is more
to do with a "life"). Botting is illegal to do in Silkroad Online
although it is not illegal under the law (correct me if I'm wrong).
Many people bot. It has also been rumoured that many free bots
contain keyloggers (they steal your passwords). There are also
paying bots too, kinda sad but true. I am not telling TO or NOT TO
bot, but if Silkroad find out then your character WILL be banned
and all the money (and hard work if any) will be lost. Also many
botters have quit the game or gotten addictive to the bot and NOT
the game, which costs them a lot of money.

3. What is server disconnected and why do I get it?
Answer: When you play the game since the game is "free" (to play, but you
can buy premium items with silk) lots of people want to play it and
this causes a lot of people to log on, and there is a limit to the
number of people on each server (this is lower on NEWLY started
servers but is raised as they grow "older") and this causes people
to disconnect when logging in. But ingame you also disconnect if
your client is too laggy, or you have high ping or if your in
Donwang (tooooooo many people in Donwang), or if too many people
are in the same sector (area) as you, among other things.
Disconnecting is an annoying thing, but it has become part of
silkroad now.

4. How do you set up a stall?
Answer: Press A then right click the stall icon, then enter the stall name
and drag the items you want to sell from your inventory into the
stall and set a price. Please find out what the NORMAL price for
items are and investigate prices when you sell a high level (64+)
or sos item. Also you need to OPEN the stall to allow people to
buy.

5. How can I set the client to window mode?
Answer: Press the Windows key (in between the Ctrl and Alt key) and Alt
then press Enter. And you should be in windowed mode.

6. What happens when you get banned?
Answer: They only ban your account and dont ban other accounts attached to
your IP adress (unconfirmed).

7. How do I delevel?
Answer: To delevel you need to die multiple times.

8. What does SOS do?
Answer: It is 5 levels above the current level of your weapon. So the stats
of the weapon are 5 levels higher than the level it says. So a SOS
level 1 glavie would be equivalent to a normal level 6 glavie in
stats, but you can weild the SOS level 1 glavie at level 1 and not
wait until level 6 to wield it.

9. What does hyprid int or strength mean?
Answer: Pure INT is when you put all your stat points on INT and Pure STR
is when you put all your stat points on STR. Hybrid is when you put
some stat points on INT and some on STR, it is HIGHLY debatable on
whether a Pure or a Hybrid is stronger.

10. Can you lvl up equipment like lvl 1 glaive to a lvl 8 glaive?
Answer: No, you need to buy a level 8 glavie. The only ways of "leveling
up" a weapon are by using Weapon Elixers to add +'s to the weapon
making it stronger (e.g. you can make a level 1 +3 weapon, by using
weapon elixers). Be warned weapon elixers can fail like other
alchemy, but weapon elixers will reset the +'s that have been added
if they fail.
