Unique monsters

Unique monsters appear randomly several times per day. There is no standard time for their next appearance, they may appear just few hours after their death or it may takes lot of hours until they will appear again.

When they are under attack, they spawn elite monsters around them for protection. Both unique and elite monsters are much stronger than the other monsters of their level.

The most common drops are special return scrolls, elixirs and items with invalid repair stat. But your level shouldn't be a lot higher than the monster's level in order to get drops from it. For example, if you kill Uruchi when you are level 46, you will get lot of drops, but if you kill him when you are 66, then you will earn nothing.



Although these unique drops have a red line with the invalid repair stat, they are not like the damaged items of unsuccessful alchemy. Their durability is 400% increased, so you can use them many times before their durability reaches 0. But when it reaches 0 they become useless. But even with full durability, you can't destroy these items and the NPC price is just 1 gold.

It's recommended to try hunting a unique after you are about 4-5 higher than its level. Otherwise you may be killed by its elite monsters, as you try to come close. Although the level of the elite monsters are about the level of the unique (or a little bit lower), they appear massively, which may make it hard for you to tank them.

When unique monsters appear or get killed, you see a message on your screen (no matter if you are close to them or not).

Here are some advices, in case you are going to hunt a unique monster:

Things to do before the unique monster appears:
Buy lot of potions, universall pills and horses.
Make sure you have a full berserk gage. If not, hunt monsters until you fill it.
Choose one of the spots that this unique appears (the spots are shown below) and go there.
Join (or create) a party that says in its title that is created for hunting this unique.
Press the minus (-) sign on your minimap lot of times, until you see the max available area around you.
Activate all of your buffs. It's recommended not to ride a horse once you reach the spot, so you can buff again every time your buffs are terminated.
If your level is close to the unique monster's level, set the auto potion recovery really high.
Things to do after the unique monster appears:
Look at the minimap for the purple dot that indicates the unique monsters. If it close you will notice it.
If the unique is not at this spot, ride a horse and go check the other spots, starting from these that are closer to your current position.
Look at the map for the positions that the other party members are. If you see that someone is not moving it may means that the unique is there.
Keep looking both your screen for the unique and the minimap for the purple dot as you are searching.
Things to do after you find the unique monster:
Spot the unique and not one from the elite or other monsters that there are around.
Once you spot the unique, press Tab key to activate your berserk.
Start your fight.
Things to do if you are the winner:
Do not start fighting the elite or other monsters but concentrate to the drops. After some time they will become available for everyone and it will be a pity to lose them.
If you can't find them in this mess, press Z to see all the near drops.
