Dagger Segita Hunter Guide
Guide for Dagger Segita Hunters
===============================
Introduction
One of the close quarter AOE-oriented characters, Dagger Segitas are different from the traditional Bow/Xbow Hunters which are long ranged fighters. In the 2moons/Dekaron world however, Dagger Segitas are often referred to as an orthodox build and regarded as a “fun” way to go hunter for the “bored” high level players. While playing this class however, most people found the potential of the Dagger Segita to be a lower level tier powerhouse even comparable to the Summoner class. At higher levels though, due to their limited skills, the Dagger Segitas are a bit outclassed by the other classes. Hence, due to this, most new Segita Hunters go dagger builds to level quickly then resets to a Bow/Xbow hunter as they go to higher levels. Those who remain as pure Dagger Segitas however, enjoys a very high critical rate due to the STR stats pumped up.

Stat Builds
———–
1. Pure Heal Segita
Yep. Full heal build. Makes you nearly as strong as a Bagi. Build is simple. Just get enough STR/DEX for your weapon then pump out the remaining points to HEAL. Simple? Yes. Of course I expect people to bash me with this build since this build is often used by Bagi Warriors, Incar Magicians and Segnales. This build is for soloers who relies on survivability and long grinding periods. Base damage is not that high (200+ normal hits) but skill damage makes up for this. By having alot of HEAL youll be sure that you pull off your AOE attacks without getting interrupted or killed. This build avoids you getting pked by summoners since youll have decent to good shield and hp total. With this build you can even finish the Nunvice Instance on your first time.Tip: Small SP pot is your best friend. Example at Lvl 42, your stats would be like Str(23) Dex (60) Heal (134) Spr (3). You would be able to tank all 6 frishkans in Nunvice or like solo mob in Frozen Valley Catastrophe. Make sure you have like at least 50 Spr when you reach lvl 90++.
2. Normal Dagger Segita
If you think the Bagi-esque Segita damages too low or even you think 4k damage+bleeding at lvl 32 is toooooo low, then this build is for you. Its a balanced build of offence and defence. You will damage more but you will notice that you wont be able to mob as effectively with the pure HEAL build. Build is in favor of STR/HEAL at a 3/2 ratio (or 2/3 whichever gets your drift) with enough DEX to wield weapons. Possibly the better Aggressor in PK. Does well in PVP with good damage and decent shield/HP. Can solo mobs and a pretty balanced dagger build. Example at Lvl 42 at 3/2 ratio, your stats would be like Str(91) Dex (60) Heal (66) Spr (3). At a 2/3 ratio your stats will look like Str(66) Dex (60) Heal (91) Spr (3). Make sure you have like at least 50 Spr when you reach lvl 90++.
3. Cannon Segita
Though I am not a fan of the Cannon builds, I’ll just include it here for completion. This build utilizes and all out offensive build for dagger segitas with little to no regard for heal. This build is more useful in Mass PK/PVP where the dagger segita assumes the role of an assassin, picking up important pieces of the oppossing party and killing them swiftly. This build is hard to level since most monsters will do huge damage to you. The only way to level is for parties that will mob/heal while you deal damage and wipe out the mob. Build is a STR/HEAL build of 4/1 with enough dex to wield weapons. Can wipe out most mobs without difficulty although the main problem is luring and surviving the uncontrolled mobs. A Cannon powerhouse. Example at Lvl 42, your stats would be like Str(121) Dex (60) Heal (36) Spr (3).Make sure you have like at least 50 Spr when you reach lvl 90++.

Skill Analysis

A. Active Skills
1. Violent Step
Unlike the “first” skill of usual characters, this skill is good especially on lower levels. This skill gives you a very decent damage skill for low mana. Good skill till you get the next skill, Rolling Attack. Useful to spam till level 15 but aside from it, you could skip it or max it (since you dont have much skill being in the combat tree).
2. Rolling Attack
This is your first mob skill. Yes, a mob skill at 15. Imba. Not really. Because of the 2moons noob protection system, only 2-3 mobs will only follow you. So you need to party up to put this skill to good use. One of the better AOE though not as damaging, this skill hits three times. Good for finishing off enemies while their life is being drained by the bleeding effect from Silent Killer. A very nice skill, useful and cheap. Get it for all its worth.
3. Silent Killer
There is a huge F*cking delay on this skill, like
Animation…1..2..3..BOOM. Excellent damage. On PvP this skill is like poison, since the bleeding effect passes through shields. Good damage skill PVE and PVP. You’d never be called a dagger hunter if you dont have this skill. Excellent AOE - teardrop like.
4. Dead Spin
Good AOE, nice damage although a bit lower than Silent Killer at earlier levels but it has a Slow/Stun/Immobilization effect. High mana cost compared to the other skills but useful especially when doing pvp with melee classes.
Passive and Non Offensive Skills
1. Combat Mastery - no need to explain this. Increases damage with daggers.
2. Wind Moving - makes you walk fast. useful in pvp and running away from mobs while your skill cools down.
3. Cure Wounds - A pot saver. A skill buff necessary to mob.
4. Terrace Magic - Halves your Shield to increase Max HP. Its more of a Grinding buff than a PVP buff. You can skip this if you dont want it at all.

Places to Level
—————
I am only listing the places where I leveled, you are in no way obliged to follow this leveling areas.
1-5 I sat around braiken castle killing the monsters.
5-12 North Ares/Morte
12-16 North Ares/ Morte or Denebe
16-27 Heiharp
27-34 Norak Cave
34-50 Nunvice Instance Dungeon with the Frishkhan Effect. I dont consider the Frishkhan as a bug. Since the other dekaron versions still has it. I think that is the real SECRET of the Nunvice Dungeon.
***The Frishkahn effect:
While venturing in the Inner Part of Shrine, you will come across a statue which will ask you to break the seal. If you agree, two poles? (or totems whatever) one each side (the one which you must destroy to spawn frishkahns). Here comes the trick, after you talk to the statue and agreeing to destroy the seal of Nunvice, go out to the lobby and talk to the same statue again. If done correctly, the statue would just repeat what it previously said “Destroying the seals will bla bla bla”. But if in any event you get the message “GO NOW AND DESTROY THEM” you didnt do it properly. so too bad, try again. If you did it correctly it will spawn another 2 poles to destroy. Remember, one conversation will give 2 poles meaning 12 frishkhans. so just repeat and enjoy. Take note that you must talk to the statue for several times first before destroying any of the poles. After destroying all the poles, you cannot activate the effect again, you need to relog and repeat nunvice again.
50-55 Norak Cave 2
65-75 Crespo 88 or Crespo 130
75-90 Draco Desert is nice with the EXP CQs. (hey im rich haha)
90-105 Avalon isle monsters
105-120 Python castle basement
120-150 Doomed maze
