Focus exclusively on Guild Wars and/or ArenaNet
Update when the official site is updated; carry Guild Wars news as it is posted or, when possible, as it takes place
Update to report Guild Wars news from independent sources such as gaming sites and print publications
Attribute news from the official site appropriately, in order to avoid confusion between company news and site news
Present materials in an attractive and professional manner
Host a Guild Wars-specific forum or forum set
Present a substantial amount of original content, not merely a compilation (mirror) of ArenaNet-produced materials
Expand site sections and content promptly when new campaigns are released
Update content pages promptly when changes are made to Guild Wars through updates and other means
Post all ArenaNet press releases, or post a direct link to them on the ArenaNet or Guild Wars site(s)
Email ArenaNet fansite traffic statistics monthly
Display appropriate copyright information
Abide by The Expectations

An Elite Guild Wars Fansite may receive the following:
A link on our Community Page and/or Fansite Roster
Frequent posting of fansite news on the Community News Page, when such news is emailed to fansites@arena.net a week in advance
All ArenaNet press releases
Occasional announcements from the ArenaNet Community Relations Manager or Fansite Liaison via e-mail
Use of the Fansite Kit and email notification when it is expanded
Exclusive Fansite Interview with ArenaNet, one per year
Occasional unique Elite Fansite-only materials, such as, information releases, contests, screenshots, etc.
Invitations to events available only to Elite Fansites
Occasional prize support for contests and competitions held by the Elite Fansite, as approved in advance http://www.guildwars.com/community/fansites/program/
