Choosing Character Names, Please Be Respectful

I've been seeing some offensive character names in the Basin GW guild and thought I would put up a little post about it.

While we are all here to game and have fun, please be mindful and respectful when choosing your characters name. We have people and families here of all ages, races, ethnic backgrounds, and sex, and we need to keep that in mind. I find it offensive, and I'm sure others do too, when I log on and see characters in the Basin in-game guild with a character name that refers to female sexual parts or to sexual acts.

Rather than start a character with an offensive name, then spend time playing/leveling them up, only to find out the Basin doesn't allow the name in it's guild, why not put some thought into the name and come up with something that "shows some class?" If you're in doubt about the name you want to use, ask around in the guild, or make a post on the forums to get opinions and advice from your guild mates. To me, that shows a lot of class.

We all see some pretty raunchy names from players outside our guild when in towns and outposts, and at least I have the option to leave. Please remember when you are naming your characters, The Basin's reputation is at stake.
