Gate walking. What's our stance?

So if a gate closes in guild wars and you left click to move to the other side before it closes all the way you will walk right through it. I'm not sure where i stand on this but it feels like an exploit. i chated with a LT member and they advised me to start a topic here. so before i go in depth on my thoughts what do you think? I can provide more indepth explainations on how it works later.

Also this concerns me as a GLT leader because alot of guilds are abusing this and by not doing this we may have an unfair advantage on us. i used the ingame feature to report this but beyond that before it's fixed should we use it or not? http://www.theamazonbasin.com/gw/forums/index.php?showtopic=4483
