Here are a couple of things I came up with to hopefuly Help out in any problem entering the game.

Program Files\Acclaim\2Moons

and add ALL 2 Moons .exe’s which would be (launcher) and (minilauncher) that are in this folder aswell as gameguard.des, go into the GameGuard folder and add GameMon.des, dekaron and dekaron_nsse.

2, Sometimes your data Execution Prevention will prevent you from getting into certain games. To override this all you need to do is.

Click Start on your Desktop and Choose Control Panel.

From there Double click on System and click on the Advanced Tab at the top.

At this point Click Settings under the Performance Area then Click on Data Execution Prevention Tab at the top.

Tick “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:” so it is green next to it and then Click on Add.

Go to your Local Disk then open Program Files.

Open Acclaim then 2Moons then Add “launcher”

Redo the same steps for “minilauncher” and after you have gotten those 2 files open the bin folder. Do the same thing for dekaron, dekaron_nsse, and gameguard.des

once that is Complete go into the GameGuard Folder and add GameMon.des.
3, Also make sure that youve added 2 Moons .exe’s to the exception list of your anti-virus as it could be your Anti Virus that has eaten away at some of the essential 2 Moons files thinking its a virus or something. Once again as some run in the background even after disabling, dont just click disable and think it will work just the same.

4, Make sure you have ALL up to date drivers for your PC, that includes: Motherboard drivers, Sound Card drivers, Graphic Card drivers and the recent DirectX 9c Drivers. Goto:

Start

Run

type Msinfo32

then you will see your computer details.

and for your Direct X go to

Start

Run

type dxdiag

then u will see your computers DirectX version at the bottom =)

5, Do you have ATI Tray tools installed?

Close down ATI Tray tools and then try starting 2 Moons.
6, Does your computer meet The Specifications to run?

2 Moons Minimum Requirements:

Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP

Intel Pentium III 800 MHz or AMD Athlon 800 MHz

256 MB or more of RAM

32 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as nVIDIA

GeForce 2 class card or above

DirectX 9.0c and latest video drivers

Broadband Internet connection

2 Moons Recommended System:

Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP

Intel Pentium IV 1.5 GHz or AMD AthlonXP 1.5 GHz

512 MB or more of RAM

128 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as nVIDIA

GeForce FX class card or above

DirectX 9.0c and latest video drivers

Broadband Internet connection

7, Try cleaning your temp files, if you use Internet Explorer then goto :

Start

Run

type inetcpl.cpl

click on Delete files then “Ok”

Then Check “Deleate all offline content” then Ok

If you use anything else (ie. FireFox) then what you will need to do is first Show hidden files and folders by going to :

Start

Run

type Control Folders

choose the “View” tab

under Hidden files and folders, tick the Show hidden files and folders.

Once there is a green dot next to that Choose “Apply” then hit “Ok”.

Now browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Your-User-Name\Local Settings and delete everything inside the Temp and Temporary Internet Files folders.

[Note:]

ie.

I would put C:\Documents and Settings\COOP\Local Settings to get to my Temp and Temporary Internet Files folders.

8, Make sure you have no Spyware/Viruses/Trojans running on your computer.

2 popular free Adware removers are Lavasoft Ad-Aware and Spybot S+D. NOD32 and McAfee is decent Anti-Virus although its not free.
9, Have you tried a fresh Install of the Game?

Recommend on choosing DOWNLOAD FROM

10, Running Windows Vista

Running the game on Vista works fine as long as you run all the exe files as administrator and make sure the anti-virus doesn’t remove any of the files connected to GameGuard.
