Felmyst will go through about four cycles of Phase 1 and Phase 2 before the 10 minute enrage timer, so the raid will need to bring down about 25% of Felmyst's health each cycle (about 1.7 million damage). If you've killed Brutallus, maintaining sufficient DPS should not pose a significant problem.

Between Mana Burns, AoE-ing skeletons during Phase 2, and healing raid damage throughout the course of the fight, all casters will be burning through a lot of mana. Shadow priests, using Mana Potions on cooldown, and making use of whatever relevant consumables and abilities are available to conserve or restore mana will be important. Druids should be able to Innervate twice during the fight.

Especially during Phase 1 healing may at times be very thin. Between all of the raid damage taken from the various abilities and Felmyst's relatively strong melee and Cleave, healers will always be occupied. It is important that every raider be prepared to do whatever they can to survive without guaranteed heals. That means moving out of Encapsulates as fast as possible, making sure to be in range of Mass Dispel, liberally using Healthstones and Health Potions and doing whatever is possible to stay alive.

At the moment all NPCs in Sunwell Plateau, including bosses, have an invisible buff:
Sunwell Radiance: Chance to hit increased by 5%, Enemy chance to dodge reduced by 20%.
The effect of the buff is that a rogue's Evasion is less effective and tanks may want to reevaluate the gear they are using on these bosses. Most Black Temple/Mount Hyjal main tanks will have their gear tuned towards high avoidance. This buff essentially removes the significant advantages of high avoidance sets and places relatively more value on armor and health. The complete theorycrafting of gear tuning for this buff is beyond the scope of this guide.
