Searing Flames Gimmick GvG Build, FotM til the nerf comes Empty Searing Flames Gimmick GvG Build, FotM til the nerf comes

This weekend has seen a lot of searing flames builds. The amount of damage can be insane, such that it's quite difficult to defend against the SF onslaught.

Additionally, we're likely to see several smurfs form because the playoffs are coming up. Unless you're in a Top 25 guild, there's absolutely zero incentive to compete in your guild. Rather, you can reform under a smurf, and then spend time rolling over teams that would otherwise be lower-rated than your own.

What is a Searing Flames GvG build like?

There are several permutations. This one is particularly evil:
6x Searing Flames Ele/Me -- All Eles with standard Searing Flames build (Searing Flames, Glowing Gaze, Liquid Flame) + Arcane Mimicry, Arcane Echo
1 Paragon with elemental attunement + partywide defense buffs
1 monk
What's evil is that the SF eles will use Arcane Mimicry from the elemental attunement of the paragon, then Arcane Echo Searing Flames. This allows them to spam the two over and over again while dual-attuned.

If there's Basin pick-up play, it'd be worth considering playing the gimmick, just to get some idea of how it works. It's also a good build for heroes, too, because heroes have bot reflexes. Probably like some other overpowered builds, it'll get nerfed.

Since conditions are such a huge part of this build, party-wide condition removal will be important. I can see a lot of use of Blessed Light. Mantra of Flame would help the monk against getting spiked.

Other thoughts?
