Ok, so after sitting on the Position Punisher for awhile and thinking about what else one could orient around it, I have the following scaffold and I need aaaaaall da basin's help in fine-tuning it in theory (if it should so merit).

3-monk team (not sure yet what would work best here)

1 flag runner (ditto)

1 N/E Position Punisher (as noted in this thread: clicky!)

Max death, high earth, rest into soul reaping/curses as needed

1. Ward against Foes
2. Ward against Melee
3. Deathly Swarm
4. Well of Suffering
5. Rend Enchantments/Well of the Profane
6. Glyph of Energy
7. Glyph of Lesser Energy
8. Res Sig

Control the battlefield with wards and wells, punish/harass/spike assist with deathly swarm, backup-rend or more control with well of the profane.

1 E/N

max fire and high curses, medium storage +iiiitty bitty air

1. Fireball
2. Gale
3. Meteor
4. Immolate
5. Glyph of Energy
6. Glyph of lesser Energy
7. Rend Enchantments
8. Res Sig.

The snare - both Gale and Meteor are used (not at the same time) to catch toons running away, etc. Lots of fire + burning as well as primary render.

1 E/Mo

near max fire, high energy storage and earth

1. Fireball
2. Immolate
3. Flame Burst
4. Ward against foes
5. Ether Prodigy
6. Holy Veil
7. Judge's Insight
8. Res Sig.

The JI is to be applied on the warrior when s/he calls for it, having charged up whatever skill it is to unleash things. Backup warder and Holy Veil is used as a variable cap on the Ether Prodigy regen as well as provide additional hex relief.

1 Warrior/?

Something to capitalize on JI and the knockdown from the E/N.

So, here's what the prime objectives are:

1. claim as much mobility through wards and wells
2. have a high enough and concentrated enough offense to drop targets quickly without necessarily having to drop the monks first.
3. be able to engage in battle effectively in a robust way (time, number of toons, etc), i.e. be resilient.

So far, I'm as yet the elementalists are the best way to go or even if they are specced optimally for what they need to do, though I am interested in finding out whether or not the Prodigal Veiler is something that's even useful.

Ideas? thoughts? brickbats? bouquets? http://www.theamazonbasin.com/gw/forums/index.php?showtopic=3685
