silkroad Events

Most of the events usually take place when Joymax wants to celebrate something (e.g. Christmas or Easter), although it may be e.g. Easter but no event will occur or an event may be occur without celebrating something.

Usually the events last for about a week and are announced lot of days before.

There are 2 types of event:

Gift events
XP/SP events
In XP/SP events, all the users in all servers get more XP/SP by hunting monsters.

Gift events

In gift events, the monsters give some special drops apart from their ordinary drops. Usually these special drops are jewel boxes but they may vary (e.g. in Easter events these drops may be eggs).

As long as a gift event is in progress, NPC So-Ok is appeared south of every dimensional gate of each town (normally, when no event is in progreess, So-Ok stands in Barrom Street in Jangan). You have to bring these special drops to So-Ok and she will give you an item.

You have to exchange all the special drops you have collected before the event ends. After the event is over, all the special drops that are not exchanged with items are disappeared and you lose them.

The item that So-Ok will give you in exchange may vary. Not all the gift events have the same items and also in every gift event there are many different items that So-Ok may give you. These items may be:

Items that are already presented in the game but they are a little bit rare (e.g. elixirs etc) Items that can be bought through Item Mall (e.g. Global chatting etc)
Items that are not presented in the game (e.g. Pandoras boxes, Gold dragon flags etc)
Event items
Here are some of the items that may be gained by events:

500 MP increase scroll Increases your MP by 500 for 30 minutes.
500 HP increase scroll Increases your HP by 500 for 30 minutes.
Gold dragon flag Increases your str and int by 2 as long as you wear it.
Pandora's box Summons powerful monsters. Required level: 10.
Monster summon scroll It summons powerful monsters that will be disappeared after 5 minutes. The number of the monsters will be equal to the current number of party members. Required level: 10.
Rudolph Transport animal with 8875 HP and 12m moving speed. Required level: 5.
Moving speed scroll Increases your speed by 50% for 1 hour.
Dodging scroll Increases your parry ratio by 30% for 1 hour.
Hit scroll Increases your attack rating by 30% for 1 hour.
Trigger scroll Increases your attack rating and your parry ration by 30% for 1 hour.
