Quest for an Epic Flying Mount (Part 4)
If you haven't read the other parts to this post, you can check them out here:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
It's been a while since I did an update on my progress towards an epic flyer. Last time it was how I had hit level 70 and still had a long ways to go in order to afford an epic flying mount, thus I went for the normal flyer and started to work at getting the 5200 gold I needed for the epic flying mount.
It's been two months since my Part 3 post and in that time I've come a long ways. In fact, as I sit right now, I could go out and get my epic flying mount.
That's right, I have the 5200 gold I need to get the training and the mount. However, I would have about 24 gold left over. Not where I like to sit with finances.
So even though I can afford it, I will wait a little longer before I make that journey to Wildhammer Stonghold in Shadowmoon Valley. I will earn a bit more gold before I spend that amount of money so at least I have a little spending money for working on leveling my Leatherworking and getting gear for my alts.
I was thinking another 500-1000 gold more giving me close to that 6000 gold mark and plenty of left over gold to allow for repairs, mats, items for raids/instances, and the like. I'm thinking another couple weeks, maybe a month at the most and then I'll be zoom zooming around the skies in Outlands.
Now once I complete my Quest for an Epic Flying Mount, that will then lead to another quest. My Quest for a Netherdrake Flying Mount. (Sorry, don't want the Sky Guard mount.)
