Hi everyone, since the update of september 7, I've been playing mostly PvP missions. Don't know why, just cant get myself to go back to PvE. I've played veriety of builds and professions looking for something I'd feel comfortable with. Something chalenging but at the same time versatile and winnable . After some testing and playing around with various rangers I finally came to the spot where I like wat I play. Please note that I'm talking about radom onslaught and casual TA, but I'm sure it can easily be adapted to any organized PvP as well. Anyway, here is the build:

Ranger/Mesmer

Illusion magic: 7+0
Beast Mastery: 8+1
Expertise: 12+3+1
Marksmanship: 8+1
Wilderness survival: 0+1 ( why not)

Skills (I'll list the digits based on the attributes above):

Concussion Shot -- 25e 0.5c 10r
Bow Attack. If Concussion Shot hits while target foe is casting a Spell, the Spell is interrupted and your target is Dazed for 14 seconds. This attack deals only 10 damage.

Pin Down -- 15e 0c 15r
Bow Attack. If Pin Down hits, your target is Crippled for 10 seconds.

Oath Shot (Elite) -- 10e 0c 20r
Elite Bow Attack. If Oath Shot hits, all your other skills are recharged. If it misses, all your skills are disabled for 10 seconds. (50% miss chance with Expertise 7 or less.)

Tiger's Fury 10e 0c 10r
Stance. All your non-attack skills are disabled for 5 seconds. For 9 seconds, you attack 33% faster than normal.

Arcane Conundrum 10e 2c 20r
Hex Spell. For 10 seconds, Spells cast by target foe take twice as long to cast.

Throw Dirt -- 5e 1c 45r
Skill. Target touched foe and foes adjacent to your target become Blinded for 16 seconds.

Charm Animal -- 10e 10c 0r
Skill. Charm target animal. Once charmed, your animal companion will travel with you whenever you have Charm Animal equipped.

and the beloved

Resurrection Signet
Signet. Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. You may use this Signet only once per mission.

The build evolved (like many) around its elite skill - Oath Shot. My aim in the game is to disrupt as much as quickly as I can. This means using Concussion on casters, Dirt on warriors and fellow rangers, Pining Down chasers or ones being chased and then recharging the skills with an Oath Shot for virtually infinite conditions on enemies.

This build is fairly complex (at least in my understanding) to play and I still make a lot of mistakes that cost me life and sometimes games, but I feel it has very good poential.

Plz tell me what you think of it. Be honest I can take it I'll still like and play it.
