Casual GvG in main basin vs GLT, Pick up Teams

I have overheard several people talking about trying to use team builds for casual GvG in the main guilds.

CASUAL by definition as outlined by the Leadership precludes TEAM BUILDS.

Before even considering a Team Build consider the following:


1. Are you confident on all maps. You Know the layout and general tactics for each and every map.

2. If asked can you run flag no matter which map is used.

3. Do you have Team Speak with a good working Mic. Team Builds are integrated and require co ordinated team work only achieved by fast accurate communication.

4. If you play an offensive character are you confident to Target call

5. If you play a monk can you confidently play both a protector and healer and are able to play under QZ Nature renewal ect.

6. If a specific build is used do you have the majority of skills unlocked either offensive or defensive.

7. Are you willing to be assigned a certain character (within reason) and are you willing to have the necessary skills unlocked for the next practice or match.

8. Are you diciplined enough to keep quiet on TS and actually follow instructions.

Now you need a person to do all the organization, A Leader people respect and 8 players that can play in the same time slot on a regular basis

a. Don't forget you have to book the Guild hall so casual players know not to disturb you

b. You finally get a raking in the 100's only to show up the next day to find a ranking of 600 as the casual GvG'er played and had fun

c. The casual players may get frutrated having to play top ranked teams all the time.

GLT seems the best place for Team Builds. Team Builds have the best chance of running the ladder. Good organization keeps it fun and interesting.
